Winter at LAS: Life on the Slopes
One of the best ways to experience the beauty of LAS’s alpine setting is through our ski program. Leysin is a renowned resort with over 1oo kilometers of pistes, giving students the opportunity to ski or snowboard twice a week throughout the winter semester. Whether recreationally or competitively, skiing at LAS allows students to develop new skills while enjoying the very best of Switzerland’s mountain life.
Our students don’t just ski in Leysin—they explore some of the most iconic resorts in the world. From Zermatt to Chamonix, each trip offers new challenges, breathtaking views, and unforgettable alpine experiences.
From First Turns to Freeride, there’s a place for everyone
Whether students are new to skiing or seasoned pros, LAS partners with the local ski school to help every skier and snowboarder develop strong technique, build confidence, and make the most of their time on the mountain. For advanced athletes, our Freeride and Freestyle teams provide the opportunity to take their skills to the next level—training with experienced coaches, refining technique, and competing on some of Switzerland’s most exciting terrain.
