At LAS, growing into an innovative, compassionate, responsible citizen of the world doesn’t happen in one place. Students grow in the classroom, at the dinner table, on the mountain, and in the dorm.
That’s why we built Education 360°, our signature, purpose-built, whole-child curriculum connecting academics, residential life, and campus life into one continuous developmental journey. Every student, from grade 7 through grade 12, moves through the same simple, powerful framework—Notice, Name, Choose—delivered not by visiting specialists but by the faculty and dorm parents who live alongside them. Our Faculty Families (small groups of students and faculty parents who meet every week) guide the journey. At key moments in the year, older Faculty Families pair with younger ones, so senior students step into genuine mentorship roles, becoming leaders in their own right, while younger students learn from their peers.

A curriculum that follows the school year
Education 360° follows the school year: Connections, Community, and Care of Self in the fall; Agency, Autonomy, and Accountability in the winter; Benchmarks, Beliefs, and Blindspots in the spring. Sessions are short, hands-on, and memorable, helping students to map out their year. Every session has been developed in three versions so a 13-year-old and an 18-year-old can navigate the program at their own level. Along the way, each student documents their growth on a personal microcredential wheel. This visual record is mapped to the LAS mission, giving every graduate a story of growth to carry into university and beyond.
