Alumni Visitors Guide

We would love to show you around campus and hear all your stories about your time at LAS! If you would like to arrange a visit to campus, please contact us at advancement@las.ch 

The Advancement Office is not able to offer on-site accommodation. However, we do have some great recommendations for places in Leysin to stay during your visit! 

• Vanessa's beautiful home, out towards the Eagles Nest, overlooks the valley with unobstructed views of the Dent du Midi. (Vanessa prefers booking.com)

• Rosie, former faculty and alumni parent, manages two places in town, and both can be viewed and booked through AirBnB: first and second.

• Current parents Fenton and Cindy have a great place right by Coop in Leysin,  airbnb.com/h/alpine-bliss-chalet

• This lovely Air bnb apartment apartment is situated in Leysin Village and has parking as well as a terrace with views into the valley! 

• Leysin Lodge - owned by an alum and only a five minute drive from LAS, this lodge is a great place to stay during your visit! The Lodge is a self-catering accommodation located on the ski pistes of Leysin and offers free parking. 

• Hôtel Le Grand Chalet - this hotel, which is located only a five minute walk from the Belle Époque campus, is a great option if you would like a classic Swiss chalet experience during your visit!
• You can view other local accommodation options on Leysin Tourism website.

The Advancement Office is located in the Savoy Building, Third Floor, next to the library. If you wish to visit the Belle Epoque Campus, our team is happy to meet you there too!

It takes around two hours to travel by train from Geneva Airport to Leysin. Trains run frequently, and for up-to-date timetables, please visit the Swiss SBB website (https://www.sbb.ch/en).

If you're driving up the mountain, you are welcome to park on campus during your visit to LAS.

We always ask that if you're planning to visit campus, please contact us at advacement@las.ch for a tour, to get the most out of your visit! You can make an order online and collect on when visiting campus, or simply buy on site at our Global Family Shop in the Advancement Office. We have a great range of swag, and we love it when the Global Family represents LAS!
