After the fun of the 61st Celebration in 2022, the LAS Global Family engagement campaign has been incredibly successful in 2023! Thank you for attending our events, volunteering on and off campus, donating, and being brilliant ambassadors for LAS.

These are just some of the highlights from everything we’ve done together this year. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and love for LAS! 

Over 400 Global Family Members Attended Events This Year! 
We not only welcomed the Global Family back to Leysin in the summer—the Institutional Advancement team also gathered the LAS Global Family across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and east Asia. Our fantastic Washington DC community also ran a public service and social event in June.

We will be in Houston, Texas in January! Keep up to date with our events schedule for 2024. 

Three Visiting Scholars and Five Educational Partners
This year, we hosted Sarah Wilson '09, Mattias Horseman ‘10, and Anastasiia Dutoy ‘15 on campus as Alumni Visiting Scholars, sharing their expertise, enriching and enhancing our students' experience. Thank you for so generously offering your time and skills!

We also ran multiple experiential field trips, working with our amazing educational and entrepreneurial partners, Les Trois Terres winery, Cadesio chocolates, Horizonte Coffee, Schenker Storen (thanks to Conrad and Elizabeth von Peterffy P ’27), and Goldfinger design in London (thanks to Michael Lambrianos ‘06).

We look forward to expanding these programs and are already preparing the next Alumni Visiting Scholar residency for the winter term.  

Impact Report: Fundraising Review of 2022-2023
We are proud to share our first-ever LAS Impact Report, detailing what our incredible Global Family has helped us deliver over the last school year. This report describes what was raised, where that money was invested, and how it has enhanced and impacted the LAS school community. 

Next year, we will continue to support faculty and students through Impact Fund grants, as well as deliver our second Senior Gift to celebrate the Class of 2024. If you would like to learn more about the details of our fundraising projects, please contact us at advancement@las.ch
