A huge part of boarding school life is learning how to share a space with other human beings and navigating the joys and complexities of having roommates. Whether you were a student in the 1970s, 1990s, or 2020s, the friendships built can often last a lifetime. We love pairing roommates from different countries, fostering global awareness, cultural exchange, and language growth. 

Starting with a sheepish introduction or an instant click at the start of the school year, you start teaching each other phrases in your native languages and getting used to the other's constant presence. Being study hall companions, squabbling over the state of the room, and having late-night heartfelt conversations can create a bond like no other, and the ups and downs of life together leave a lasting impact.
