Headed by our alumni eSports coach and Adjunct Professor and Course Developer at Syracuse University & George Mason University in eSports, Jordan Whitaker ‘08, we are building a network of eSports enthusiasts, professionals, and entrepreneurs!

Jordan Whitaker ‘08 has been coaching eSports at LAS since 2021. Last year, Jordan, with the support of faculty, secured an Impact Fund grant to install an eSports facility at LAS to ensure this activity continues to grow strength to strength. 

eSports is not just about bringing gamers together to show off their amazing skills, but is fertile ground for entrepreneurial opportunity, world-leading content creation, leadership and management of teams and brands, and much more…these are some of the reasons why the global eSports market is projected to grow from $2.06 billion in 2024 to $9.29 billion by 2032 according to Fortune Business Insights.
