Cultural Trips Through the Years!

A huge part of boarding school life at LAS is about travel. Over the years, we've seen thousands of students grow as individuals and find their place in the world by traveling around it! Cultural trips and travel opportunities at LAS build friendships that last a lifetime and give students the knowledge they need to become Global Citizens.

Last week, LAS students returned from their cultural trips, traveling to places like Venice, Budapest, and London, to name a few. These trips offered a sense of adventure for our students, and allowed them to develop their language skills, teamwork, and responsibility. They had a fantastic time, and made loads of amazing memories along the way!

Recently, we reached out to our alumni community on Facebook, asking them to share photos and memories of their time at LAS. The responses have been heartwarming! Click below to share your best (or worst) memories of travel at LAS (or email advancement@las.ch)!

Memories

Angela Bourne: "They were all amazing! How can you choose?"

Leandra Zarowny: "Venice was awesome!"

Carol Ann: "My favorites were the white water rafting trip in the fall of '86 and Paris in spring of '87. Had the absolute best time with Ronda Lundenburg and Jeana Weekley on the white water rafting and on the Paris trip in the spring, I remember walking around Versailles with my friends imagining we were kings and queens."
