Thank you for considering Leysin American School in Switzerland for your child!
For three generations, the Ott family and a team of talented educators have nurtured students from around the world, motivating them to reach their highest potential in academics and extracurriculars. Our success stems from the vision of founders Fred and Sigrid Ott—to create an international high school in a secure, inspiring location, where young people can reach their goals and become true “citizens of the world.”
Our idyllic campus is tucked away in a beautiful mountain town. It provides the ideal environment for students, faculty, and staff to learn together in a safe, residential community in the Swiss Alps.
Leysin, located in western Switzerland (90 minutes from Geneva, four hours from Milan, and six hours from Paris), represents the epitome of Swiss culture. Our striking, cozy hometown is an internationally-recognized ski destination with the hospitality, facilities, and lifestyle that appeal to students and global visitors alike. Leysin was also one of the host venues for the 2020 Youth Olympic Games.
