T.I.L.E. Event: Led by Leo M

One of the joys of education is watching students grow, both academically and in their personal lives. This week, one of our students, Leo M., organized and led a TILE (Talks in Innovation, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship) event with visiting scholar, Özge Hacifazlioglu, and her husband, Erdem. Özge is a professor and TOK teacher and Erdem is in the publishing business. They spoke of their career paths in Turkey and what it is to be a leader. We were so impressed with Leo's commitment to organizing such a motivational talk for his peers. Thanks for all your hard work Leo and a special thank you to Özge and her husband Erdem for taking the time to talk with our students!

Leysin American School

For almost 60 years, we have nurtured the talent of our students, motivating them to reach their highest potential in education, sports, and the arts. Our success stems from the vision of founders Fred and Sigrid Ott—to create an international high school in a secure, inspiring location, where young people can reach their goals and become true “citizens of the world.”
