We are thrilled to unveil this year's Panorama Magazine! Panorama celebrates the stories and people that shape our global community. This year's theme, Adventure, highlights the experiences that challenge, inspire, and connect us.

Surrounded by the Swiss Alps, we at LAS often think of adventure in terms of outdoor exploration—climbing 4000-meter peaks, skiing off-piste, ice climbing, paragliding, multi-day hut-to-hut hikes across mountain ridges, and cycling over rugged forest paths. But adventure means more than that. It can be found in building a new career, living in a new country, philanthropy, honest personal expression, service, entrepreneurship, the arts, or simply pivoting bravely into the unknown when things don't go as planned.

By weaving the spirit of adventure into our students' education and daily lives, we build the confidence and resilience they need to navigate future challenges and create fulfilling, meaningful lives. At LAS, that means living and learning alongside people from different cultures and perspectives, exploring the outdoors, pushing personal limits—physically and mentally—and being encouraged to engage with new ideas, take thoughtful risks, and try something new.

Adventure has always been at the heart of the LAS experience, because we know that stepping outside your comfort zone—in any form—is how we grow.

The stories in this issue vary widely, and all of them are inspiring. We are grateful for the remarkable contributions from our alumni, students, and staff, whose words and images showcase the shared experiences and meaningful connections formed at Leysin American School.
