Here at LAS, we love hosting our Global Family on campus, as it allows us to connect with cultures from all over the world and show our community the magic of Switzerland. This week, we hosted Family Winter Week, an opportunity for families to look at the life of an LAS student and immerse themselves in the beauty of our stunning Alpine home. We had such a fantastic time getting to know you all, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion!
We were proud to host academic events during the week, such as Parent-Teacher Conferences, an AP/IB presentation for families, student presentations at the Student Life Exhibition, and student performances at the Music and Art Exhibition. We always love showcasing the accomplishments of our students, and we were thrilled to offer families a glimpse into the amazing courses and activities available at LAS. We hope that families have gained greater insight into the academic side of their child’s LAS experience and see how much their children have achieved!
We also love coming together in support of the school and community—families learned about LAS Today and Tomorrow from Head of School Marc Ott, and had the opportunity to hear about upcoming projects in the village of Leysin.
And of course we also enjoying having fun together! Families gathered for the Welcome Reception, Winter Soirée, and Ott Family Reception. The festivities ended with the Au Revoir Coffee hosted by the LAS Parent Association.
Having families join us on campus is such a privilege, and we always love connecting with people from all over the world. Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Family Winter Week celebrations; you are always welcome back on our Magic Mountain!
