LAS Students Shine at Evening with the Stars!

At LAS, we are committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts program, empowering students to explore their creativity and express themselves. Arts play a large part in our curriculum, and exploring and developing student talent offers opportunities for personal growth, self-discovery, and cultural expression. This week, our students were able to shine at our annual Evening with the Stars event!

Twenty-one of our gifted students braved the stage and showcased their musical talents, blending genres, instruments, and cultural traditions. We were lucky to witness an eclectic lineup, from contemporary jazz by Amy Winehouse to a timeless classical piece by Vivaldi. A sneak peek into the upcoming school musical, Legally Blonde, was a crowd-pleaser, and we were lucky enough to hear a song in Thai! We love the variety of styles embraced by our student performers!

Performing in front of peers takes a lot of courage, and we couldn’t be prouder of our brave students who shared their talents with our community, furthering our arts programs and encouraging others to take up an instrument or audition for a future school musical! The supportive audience created an encouraging atmosphere and cheered on every performer!

Well done to the following students for their outstanding performances:

  • Tasker ‘26: Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles
  • Zen '25: ‘บุพเพสันนิวาส’ by Ice Sarunyu
  • Karlijin '26: Concerto in A Minor Movements 1 and 3 by Vivaldi
  • Nika '26, Jade '25, Lin '26, Kei '26, Samantha '26, Tilly '25, and Jessica '26: Omigod You Guys from Legally Blonde the Musical
  • Piotr '27: Mury by Jacek Kaczmarski
  • Shrika '25, Sara '25, Alex '25, and Varvara '25: Back to Black by Amy Winehouse
  • Tilly '25: Legally Blonde from Legally Blonde the Musical
  • Ora '25, Sara '26, Jiyou '26, Elvira '26, and Jia '27: Tell me by Wonder Girls!

The diversity of performances, from singing to instrumental pieces, impressed audiences and showcased the incredible talent our students have developed. We are really excited about future events where students can express and showcase their musical talents, and we can’t wait to hear even more genres and styles!
