LAS an IB World School Leader Pioneering Digital Exams

LAS is proud to be among the 45 global International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools selected to participate in the recent DPCP (Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme) Digital Examinations Student Usability Trial. Over the past two months, LAS helped shape the future of digital assessment by:

  • Providing critical student and staff feedback into the first iteration of IB’s DPCP digital examination
  • Representing our school in a global collaborative effort

This trial brings together schools from 28 countries, with over 1600 examinations completed and more than 950 students experiencing digital assessment firsthand. LAS is not only testing a new system—we are actively contributing to the future of international education!

By participating in this trial, we are demonstrating our dedication to innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement in learning technologies.

The trial is one of the steps being taken by the IB towards transitioning to digital examinations for the Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme. Find out more about the transition in this recent article by tes magazine and on the IB website.
