Nearby towns like Aigle, Montreux, and Lausanne have large Christmas markets featuring handcrafted goods, festive food, and decorations. Montreux market is one of Switzerland's most famous Christmas markets, with over 150 stalls, a lakeside view, and activities like Santa's Flying Sleigh.

Tobogganing Park
The Leysin Tobogganing Park transforms into a winter wonderland in the festive season, offering exciting snow tubing tracks. Ice Skating
The Leysin Sports Center features an ice rink perfect for an afternoon of fun! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, this rink is great for hanging out with friends. In the Sports Center, you can also try curling, a winter sport that involves sliding stones on ice towards a target. 

Snowshoe Walks and Winter Hikes
Explore scenic trails with stunning views of the Alps in Leysin. Whether you’re hiking to the mountain hut Solacyre, or taking a short walk to Prafandaz, you can enjoy a warm drink in various chalets and enjoy an Alpine winter wonderland during the festive season!

Rochers-de-Naye Santa Claus Village
Close to Montreux is Rochers-de-Naye Santa Claus Village. This magical place can be accessed via the cog railway departing from Montreux, which takes visitors up the mountain to Rochers-de-Naye at an altitude of 2,042 m. The cog ride up the mountain offers panoramic views of the Alps, which in itself makes the journey worth it! Here, visitors can meet Santa Claus, explore his grotto, and enjoy the festive atmosphere high above the clouds.

Thermal Baths in Lavey-les-Bains
Thermal baths are a great way to warm up this festive season! Surrounded by snowy mountains, visitors can relax in the spa and look at the Christmas lights surrounding the baths. It's a great way to unwind and relax during the holidays.
