EISSR Competition 2020

Congratulations to Max, Bart, Yoshiki, Shayenne, Sewon and Leo who represented LAS at the EISSR ski meet in Wengen. Racing on the World Cup Lauberhorn slope, the students competed against 200 skiers from six European schools. We are so proud of each of our skiers for their strong performance and sportsmanship over the 3 days. Here are the highlights:

Sewon completed all of her runs and placed 10th in slalom, 16th in the GS, and 12th in Super G in the competitive Senior A girls category. Shayenne successfully completed her first super G! Yoshiki placed 5th in the slalom, 9th in the GS, and 6th in the Super 6. Max placed 7th in the slalom, 8th in the GS, and 7th in the Super G. Bart placed 10th in the GS and 10th in the Super G. And last but not least, Leo placed 1st in the slalom (in all categories), 2nd in the GS for Category C boys, and 3rd in the Super 6, 1st in the team slalom event and was overall Junior Champion for the tournament. Amazing job everyone! Thank you for representing LAS with pride and humility!
