LAS Climate Strike 2020

A climate strike was hosted on January 17, 20020 in Lausanne led by none other than Greta Thunberg. Greta is a Swedish environmental activist whose campaigning has gained international attention. Greta is widely credited with helping to launch a worldwide "Climate Strike Movement", which has seen children skip school to stage demonstrations encouraging leading politicians to take action on climate change. Nearly 40 of our students were lucky enough to join the strike, uniting with others from around the world who share the same passion for addressing the global climate crisis. These students truly represent what it means to be leaders of tomorrow and we at LAS are happy to encourage their passion for change!
