Our "hometown" village of Leysin is set within a beautiful Alpine resort, which at 1,400 meters overlooks the historic Rhone Valley. Students enjoy outstanding views of the French and Swiss Alps. Leysin's French-speaking villagers are extremely welcoming, while the town, which dates back to the Middle Ages, offers a range of shops, restaurants, cinema, and discos, as well as an indoor swimming pool, equestrian center, and modern alpine skating center, all just a short stroll from your dorm!

Thanks to our central location, you will quickly come to see Europe as your classroom, your concert hall, your laboratory. LAS students take full advantage of the historic and intellectual riches surrounding them as a springboard for learning - and for immersing themselves in different cultures through a series of school-sponsored trips, events and annual European Culturals.
