Recreation & Culture Week
Set between the two SIS program sessions, Recreation & Culture Week provides the opportunity for Alpine Adventurers to take half and full-day excursions from Leysin to cities in Switzerland not normally visited during SIS sessions and to enjoy a wide range of recreational activities right in Leysin. Choices vary dependent on interest and participation, and all activities are fully supervised. There’s even a chance to go on a one or two-night trip to experience the Italian-Swiss culture of Ticino or the Lucerne/Zurich region. Of course, there is always free time for sending a postcard to friends back home.

- Lugano, in the Italian region of Switzerland
- To a mountain hut in the Alps
