SIS Family
Here, you won’t miss your younger sibling barging into your room unannounced, instead you’ll meet and share experiences with teens from other cultures. And don't worry about being homesick—you’ll learn right away that we’re one big family here. SIS teens in our Alpine Exploration and Alpine Challenge programs are grouped by age into SIS Families. These close groups of mixed nationalities and genders are led by faculty ‘parents,’ and meet once a week for evening activities, might perform at the SIS Talent Show, sit together at all-school meetings and watch the theatre performances together. The Outdoor Leadership Adventure and Theatre in the Alps program students are grouped together as special families. This supportive and enriching experience—where teens from around the world learn to live, work, and have fun together—creates deep friendships and a greater openness to other cultures.
