At LAS, there are always events that unite the students and faculty. For instance, PROM takes place in April and is a wonderful opportunity to see my peers and classmates in their classy outfits. It’s also a chance for many to show their dancing skills and to enjoy the tasty cuisine and for girls and boys do their best to impress the LAS community! The event is also very intriguing since boys usually invite girls to attend the event. So two weeks before the PROM, girls usually wait for their anonymous followers to make the invitation! 
Even though PROM is a common event in the life of American students, at LAS we get to celebrate our PROM in the medieval castle in Aigle! Before entering the castle, many girls usually take pictures, imagining that they are part of a fairy tale. Why not? You have a gorgeous dress, an old castle, a PROM partner and a stunning view over the mountains.

This year, the event was of particular importance to me since I am graduating senior and it was my last PROM. My classmates and I were the last to leave the castle and enjoyed the senior toast with our teachers and friends.
Laughter and joy filled the castle, uniting nationalities from around the world and making it a night we will never forget.
