LAS Announces 50th Anniversary Scholarships

To celebrate its 50th Anniversary, LAS is pleased to announce that the school will offer a number of full and half scholarships for the 2010/2011 academic year. (Partial scholarships are also awarded).

Preference for full scholarships will be for students entering 11th grade who will enroll in the full IB program (International Baccalaureate). Preference to half scholarships will be for students entering 8th or 9th grade with the potential to make long-term, positive contributions to the LAS community.

All candidates must be in the top 10% of their class to be considered. For more information please write to the Admissions Office (admissions@las.ch) and download our 50th Anniversary

The Admissions Office is happy to announce that we have moved from our old home in Beau Site to the beautiful and historic Belle Epoque campus, home to our growing IB program.  We are excited to begin the winter semester and  look forward to seeing both familiar faces and new students throughout the school year.  Please come visit us in our new home!

Admissions Office Welcomes 380 Students from 62 Countries!

The Admissions Office sends greetings from the Swiss Alps!  We were excited to start the 2009/10 school year by welcoming 380 students from 62 different countries to our campus.  It is this amazing mix of nationalities, cultures and languages which truly makes LAS a global community.

These are exciting times!  After extensively renovating Leysin’s historic Grand Hotel, LAS started the school year by opening its new Belle Epoque campus, home to our growing IB program.  This impressive facility features state-of-the-art classrooms, science labs, dormitories and a trendy student café called “the Cave.”
