ATTENTION U.S. TAXPAYERS (SEE BELOW)
Leysin American School’s ability to remain one of the top international boarding schools in the world requires the support of our alumni, parents and friends. LAS is young in age and small in size when compared to our peer schools, which benefit from a much larger resource base. Your gift to LAS will have real power and impact, benefiting promising young men and women at the most defining time in their lives. A gift to LAS is an investment in the development of innovative, compassionate and responsible citizens of the world.
Ways to Give
Whether you choose to support the LAS Annual Fund or a capital project, your gift of any size significantly impacts the school community and the educational experience of every LAS student. Gifts can be made in many ways, and LAS appreciates your support, however you choose to give it.
U.S. Taxpayers
Presently, the LAS Educational Fund for the Future, Inc is not recognized as a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We are working diligently to have our exempt status reinstated. All donations made prior to February 22, 2012 are tax-deductible, while those made after are not. We apologize for any inconvenience this lapse in recognition may cause you and thank you for your patience during the reinstatement process. We hope that you will continue to support LAS and its students in the interim. If you would like to make a gift please follow the Non-U.S. Taxpayer instructions.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the Development Office directly at development@las.ch
Non-U.S. Taxpayers
In 2005, the Ott Family established the Foundation for the Advancement of International Education with the most generous donation in LAS’s history. The Foundation, an independent Swiss Charity, grants scholarships and financial assistance to deserving students, and helps fund other beneficial projects for LAS. Gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible for Swiss citizens as allowed by each cantonal authority.

Reunion and Memorial Gifts
Leysin American School is in the process of building a reunion giving program. All gifts made in the three years preceding a reunion will be credited toward the reunion gift total for recognition purposes. If you are interested in organizing a reunion and/or making a reunion gift, please contact us directly.
A memorial gift is an ideal way to recognize the impact that a beloved professor or a treasured friend or classmate has made on your life. LAS has received several gifts in memory of former professors, classmates and friends. When a memorial gift is received, LAS notifies the honoree’s next of kin. If you would like to make a memorial gift, please contact us directly and indicate the person you would like to memorialize with your gift.
